The roots of the restaurant activity of family Firšt go way back to the second half of 19th century, to the year 1874. The tradition of the Guest house Firšt in Logarska valley has been continuing for 25 years.
Our kitchen offers traditional Slovenian dishes, local Solčavsko area and Zgornja Savinjska dolina valley specialties, and international dishes. Dishes with fresh trout truly stand out (trout Mici and trout beefsteak), dry meat products (Zgornjesavinjski želodec - geographically protected dry meat product made of quality pork meat and bacon, salami and prosciutto ham), homemade soup with mushrooms and beef soup, all types of homemade pasta (noodles, štruklji - stuffed pasta rolls, žlinkrofi with dried pears) and venison dishes (deer steak Olševa style) and lamb.

For groups and parties we can arrange special menus, degustation and treats. Our Guest house can accept 60 guests and additional 30 on a covered terrace in the summer. For smaller companies and organizations we can give the opportunity to arrange gatherings, workshops, meetings or lectures.

For those, who need to relax or vacation in Logarska valley, we offer 6 two bedded rooms that have 3 stars. During your stay you can break a sweat in Finnish sauna, have a recreational walk or a mountain bike ride and discover numerous beauties of Solčava, go mountaineering or choose many of the relaxing activities nearby. Relaxation, rest and fun are available for our guests in mysterious Fida’s grove (Fidov gaj).

The Guest house and museum Firšt has two permanent exhibitions. Exhibition about Potočka zijalka cave - Palaeolithic site on mountain Olševa is supplemented with multimedia presentation of this important Paleolithic site. Exhibition Zdravje bolnikov (Health of patients - folk medicine in the Upper Savinja valley) is supplemented with visit to Fida’s grove.
